Starting as a BG Painter at Walt Disney Animation Australia, I quickly gained the trust and respect of my supervisors and colleagues. Promoted to senior level, I helped the BG supervisors at different stages of the productions and often receive big establishing shots to paint.
I also received the Best BG Painter Award on “The Jungle Book 2” (acrylics-2002) and
on “Bambi 2” (Photoshop and Painter-2005).

    Hello Patrick! At what resolution is your typical background painted at? I can imagine it will vary upon what is going on in the scene.
